LA PONTA - Riva del Garda (TN)

Adapted from a story by Carlo (Carletto) Zanoni

The practice ground for rock climbing “La Ponta” has been renovated completely, all the routes can be travelled in safety, as it has to be for a modern practice ground.

The old pitons, the historical and safety ones, are still there in order to give the possibility to face the practice ground as in the past (for those you would like to do that).

ACCESS

Starting from Riva you take the highway “Gardesana Occidentale” direction Limone, next to the ENEL power station, turn on the old way for Ponale. Park your car along this route which is closed to the traffic. At the beginning of the first tunnel, on the right side (there is a board), you will find the trail that, in two minutes, arrives to the practice ground for rock climbing.
